Insurance

I participate in three insurance panels:

  • Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Cigna

  • Husky/Medicaid

If you have Anthem, Cigna, or Husky, I will bill your insurance for the cost of the session, and I will charge the credit card you have on file (in the patient portal) for your copay/coinsurance/deductible after I am informed by the insurance company what your portion of the payment is (if applicable). Please check with your insurance company and/or your health insurance plan documents to determine what your out-of-pocket expenses may be.

Fees


For all other insurance companies, I am considered out-of-network. You are responsible for paying the cost of the session at the time of service:

$300 for the initial intake appointment

$225 for a 55-minute psychotherapy session

or $175 for a 45-minute session

After the session, you may request reimbursement from your insurance company. I provide statements, known as Superbills, that you send to your insurance company as a receipt of your expenses in order to request reimbursement. I recommend that you check with your insurance company to find out what your out-of-network mental health benefits are and how much (if any) of the cost of the session you would be reimbursed.

If you need to cancel an appointment, I require 24 hours advance notice. I will always try to offer you another appointment that week, if available. If you have canceled in less than 24 hours and we are not able to reschedule your session, you will be charged a $100 late cancellation fee. If you forget or miss an appointment, you will be charged the $100 fee (unless prohibited by your insurance).

Forms


All forms are located on my secure online portal. After you have an intake appointment scheduled, I'll email a link for the portal to you. There you can fill out, complete, and electronically sign the Practice Policies, HIPAA Policies, and consent forms from your device. It's easy, secure, and convenient!
